Jesus didn't come to bring a new standard of living for us, he came to fulfill the standard so that we can have his life as a gift. To live my life on my behalf. He has come to obey on behalf of every man so that the righteousness that comes to him will be given to us as a gift. Jesus obeyed on behalf of the whole world, so we can stand in obedience because Jesus obeyed for us.

Why do we have no trouble believing that because of Adam's disobedience we were born sinners. Yet we have trouble believing that Jesus obedience was given to us as a gift and at the cross we were born into His obedience.

1 John 4:7 - Beloved let us love one another..........He that loves not knows not God. 

We have been born of incorruptible seed!!!

We are not trying to be godly - we are godly because Christ is living in us the believer!! That is the highest form of godliness. 

The only disobedience there is - is to be disobedient to believe this Gospel of grace!! WOW!!
