Receive your healing today!!!

You and I, we are meant to be whole! In spirit, soul and body! I am believing that I am becoming whole!! Lately, I have been believing God for my healing from asthma, allergies, chronic sinusitus, headaches, migraines, pain all down the right side of my body, eczema and some other issues with my health. Watching the Lakeland Revival, listening to great preaching and visiting a Healing Room have all been ignitors of my faith for my healing. Reading God's Word on the matter keeps my focus on my healing and inheritance steady! However, by my faith, confessions or efforts I will not be healed. It is only by believing in Jesus and what He has done for me!!! On the cross he carried my sickness and bore my infirmities!!
Over the past several months I have gradually seen an increase in wellness manifest in my body. Prior to that for 6 months straight I was sick all the time. Over the years I have struggled greatly with asthma, and sinus infections, especially in the fall, my favorite time of year no less. Lately though, I haven't experienced the usual fall sickness or symptoms!! Yahoo! I have felt quite healthy and am only getting healthier~! I no longer have sinus infections, migraines, headaches, aches all down the side of my body!! And I believe that one day I will wake up free from all the ailments that have been plaguing me for TOO LONG!!! I have heard this quote flying around that, "one day with sickness is one day too long!!"  I must agree. If God is not the author of sickness, we know who is, and I for one do not want to be linked in anyway to his schemes!
So, I thought I'd share a bit of my journey into healing. Oh, and I personally haven't done a thing to change my own health, I'm just believing God on this!! My hope is to see more and more folks embrace their healing. After all it is your inheritance! Take it by storm if you have to - it's yours!!! I don't care if others aren't getting healed and that clouds your faith! (Not that I am saying I don't have compassion for those who aren't yet healed!!) Unfortunately, their reality or even your reality (with an illness) is not God's reality for you!!! I want to say to you don't give up! Do not fall into unbelief and accept your sickness!! I am not suggesting striving in any way, just listening to the word of God on this again and again until you believe it!
That said, I must share a wonderful video teaching done by Bertie Brits. Thanks to Julie for finding this guy!! It is a wonderful grace filled teaching and I highly recommend checking it out today, don't wait! One more day with sickness is far too long!!!

Patricia King addresses the Todd Bentley situation...

I really don't have much to say myself on what is going on with Todd Bentley. I would much rather pray for him and pray for restoration than I would to assess what is going on and why. That said, I would much rather share this video of Patricia King sharing.....check it out, if you are at all struggling with what is going on, I think it is worth a few minutes, as I think it just is encouraging for the body as a whole!

Declare of yourself, what God says about you......

Well, again last night Bobby Connor was leading the revival meeting. I really enjoy listening to him. He preached about "Decree a thing and it will come to pass!"
He talked about and emphasized the importance of declaring of yourself what God says about you!!! Even if you don't "feel" like it! This teaching really resonated with me. I am learning the power of our words over our life matter so much. Also, one of the things Rob Rufus has been stressing endlessly is how we need to stand up and declare "I AM THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD, IN CHRIST JESUS!"  Especially, right after we have just sinned a big ole' sin.  This is how God sees us no matter what. The enemy does not want us to get a hold of this, and be confident and bold in who we are in Christ. But we must not believe his lies or let our negative emotions or guilt grab hold in any way. And especially to not speak negativity, period!!

I recently heard an amazing testimony from a lady at the Healing Rooms meeting I just attended. There was a woman whose son had autism. He would repeat over and over his name and bang his head against the wall. That was about the extent of his verbal skills. So the mom taught him to say, "I love Jesus."  He would say this wherever they went. She began to declare things over him and prophecy wholeness over him. She continued to do this for years, all the while he was in a special school for autistic people. One day she brought him home from the school, and the son for the first time just blurted out the most clear concise intelligible sentence out of the blue!! No more repetitive words, he began to operate and function normally after that!! Isn't that amazing! He was totally free from his autism. Her faithfulness and believing God at His word and trusting in the finished work of the cross, brought her son into His true identity and wholeness in Christ! I just love it!
That shared, I just want to include some of the Scriptures that Bobby mentioned last night.

Joel 3:10 - ...."let the weak say, I am strong, a WARRIOR!"

Job 22:28 - "You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light of God's favor shall shine upon your ways."

Mark 11: 21-24 - " And Peter remembered and said to Him, Master, look! The fig tree which you doomed has withered away! And Jesus, replying, said to them, Have faith in God [constantly]. Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart, but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it].

Jeremiah 1:9 - "Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, And the Lord said to me, Behold, I have put my words in your mouth."

Proverbs 25:11 - "A word fitly spoke and in due season is like apples of gold in settings of silver."

2 Samuel 23:2 - "The Spirit of the Lord spoke in and by me, and His word was upon my tongue."

It's time to start assigning victory to our lives, our families, our children, our marriages, our work, our finances, our cities, our nations.

Lakeland last night.......

Last night I decided to check out the revival.  It was so worth it to me. I was so blessed in many ways. The worship leader was a young spunky woman, I don't know who she was or her name.  She was running all over the stage, I don't think she stood still once. Now some people may be critical if they had seen this, but I was excited. I used to be a party girl. I went to dance clubs every weekend and sometimes on weeknights for 4-5 years. I loved, loved, loved dancing, still do!! Anyway, I was thinking about how the crowd was wild, jumping and cheering and they were encouraging them to do this! I thought, you know what some people might think this is weird or even wrong, and I am sure there are very religious cynical people out there huffing and puffing about how disrespectful their behaviour is (that is if they can even stand watching it for more than a minute). But, the thing is we all go to concerts, football, baseball, our kids sports games and go wild screaming and cheering and acting a bit silly. So, why is it that that is exceptable, but going wild for our God and King is not!! What is that?! Why is God not worthy of the same exuberance and ultimately "praise". The bible says, David danced before the Lord with all his might! Come on, if we can cheer like wild people at anything, we can certainly do it for the High King of Heaven!!! Okay, so my little rant about that is over.....!!
Now I really want to highlight the man who ministered last night. I just became aware of him this past week and went and checked out his ministry website, Eagle's View Ministry and even linked his site on the right hand side of my blog. Bobby Connor, spoke and then led the healing ministry and he was amazing. I enjoyed his teaching greatly, and I don't think I have ever heard anyone preach and quote so much Scripture from memory. I was so blessed I wanted to find out how I could listen to it again. So here's the link  for last night if anyone is remotely interested in listening to it, just click on July 22.  I really want to go back and listen to it and write down as many of the Scriptures that he quoted as possible. Check it out!!!

More Impartation......

Last night I attended a worship service at House of God's Light. I wasn't sure if I wanted to share this, but as this is sort of a journal of mine and as I love sharing testimonies in the hope that it will stir up others and in a sense I hope this post may "impart" something to others who read here. So here goes.
I have already shared a few testimonies of meetings I have experienced with this group, here, here and here. It seems to me there is a momentum going in these meetings, especially since Neil and Janet Lozano have returned from Lakeland Florida. This truly is a group hungering for more of God, and for the Spirit of the Lord to come and touch them and transform lives. Neil prayed for the group and began to walk around and pray individually for people as the Spirit led him to, laying hands on individuals to impart what God had given to him and to Janet in Lakeland. As he walked around the room you could hear people being touched by God in various ways. One thing that was so precious to me, was that many of the children stayed in the meeting and were touched by the Spirit as well. It was awesome!

For me personally it was a huge time of refreshing . The past two days had been emotionally draining and difficult for me. I knew I desperately needed to be encouraged and God did not disappoint, he knew just what I needed.  A wonderful woman named Ann came over to pray for me (at this point I had already been prayed for once and had spent some time soaking and at this point was just watching everyone else receive.) She said, " I just want to bless you, because you have already been such a blessing to me."  Are you feeling the love?! And so we prayed and I got hit with the most intense hysterical laughter! I just love that we can fall under the power of God and laugh our head off, is God not so fun or what!  It did not wane for some time, and then she put her hand on me again, and said "How about some more," and again I rolled around in hysterics. I think she must have been enjoying it, because she did it again, "Oh how about one more time."  I couldn't stop and my stomach was beginning to hurt! I am telling you this is good stuff, this is God's way of blessing us and touching us tangibly!! Well apparently others wanted to see it continue and I got touched few more times and just couldn't stop the gut wrenching hilarium (if that's even a word.) It truly was precious, I got so filled I was overflowing!!
What is the point, some may wonder? Well, just this morning I was hugging one of my kids and I just couldn't help but tickle him and make him laugh. Then I was holding my littlest one and I couldn't help but squish him and kiss him. And I think God is like that, He loves us so much and wants to bless us and touch us tangibly. Just like our kids feel special and loved when we touch them, we too are so blessed when we sense the love our Heavenly Father tangibly. I once read a book where my favorite chapter was entitled, "Saturation Love." The whole purpose of the chapter was encouraging parents to make an effort to saturate their kids with physical love, such as hugging, tickling, holding, kissing and just telling them how much they love them. Why?- so that children would be so confident in their parents love for them that it would begin to transform their lives and help them grow confident and secure. When we are touched by God's tangible love for us, we can be so confident in His love for us that it gives us a confidence that hopefully spills out of us and onto others. Knowing God's love will transform you and you will never be the same!!
Christianity is not just religion, or theology or doctrine and dutiful serving or right living or pursuing holiness. Christianity should be all about a relationship. When we ask Jesus into our hearts we are in essence saying I want to be in relationship with you. Jesus made a way so the curtain could be torn in two, allowing us permanent access to God. We can relate with Him any time freely. It's truly amazing! (before the cross it was not this way, thank you Jesus for what you have purchased for us!)
Another thing I was thinking of that I think helps tie this post together a bit, was something I learned as a young child from the catechism. What is the chief end of man? Man's chief end is to glorify God and enjoy him forever!! (correct me if I am wrong, but I think that is the gist.) So, in essence we can glorify God by enjoying Him, by enjoying His special touches on our lives!! God wants us to enjoy Him......it truly brings him glory!! Amen!

A form of godliness that denies the power.....

For quite some time I have had this phrase swirling through my mind....." a form of godliness that denies the power." (2 Tim. 3:5) This verse sums up most of my Christian experience. Christians, myself included, that seek godliness, but don't know or live in the power of God. The bible says .."avoid such people." Wow!!  It almost seems to say that there is no point to being a Christian, if we don't experience God's power.(my interpretation here, feel free to disagree) I mean should there even be a Christianity that is simply just learning how to be more holy and pursuing godly ways of doing things?  Without His power we simply are denying the truth of His word and the Gospel. When the Gospel is preached, truly truly, there should be evidence of people getting saved, healed - signs and wonders should follow the one true Gospel of the New Testament. Paul says to the Corinthians, when I came and proclaimed the mysteries of God, I didn't do it with lofty speech or wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of man, but in the power of God. (1 Cor. 2:1-5)  I wonder what exactly he meant by "in demonstration of the Spirit and of power"?  I simply can't ignore these kinds of verses any longer. Jesus also always preached and demonstrated in power God's love and desire to heal all who He touched. Everywhere He went, He taught and healed the sick, raised the dead, cast out demons and set the captives free.  Why is it that modern Christianity does not look like the Christianity of the Bible? Why are people so skeptical of the Lakeland Revival and the outpourings of the Spirit's power going on there? Do we not read our Bibles and believe the whole thing? For me, a lot of it has been naivety, a lot of it has been a wrong focus when I did study my bible and some was the teaching I received and believed to be true, that never once taught me about the power of God or understanding the Holy Spirit's job in the life of a believer. A lot of my own issues were fear of man or seeking approval of people. That truly was a fetter keeping me back from moving on in the things God truly has for my life. But, thankfully, the Spirit will lead us into all truth, as we seek to be led and are hungry for God and long to know Him at a deeper level. And He is truly doing this in my life!! Hebrews 2, talks about  Without His Holy Spirit working in us and through us we cannot generate genuine fruit. Real fruit comes from the inside out. Not from applying biblical standards and disciplining ourselves, etc, etc. - but is the priority of our whole life to be focused on our own walks or on the big picture, seeking first the kingdom of God, seeing the lost saved, the captives set free, the cripples walking, the blind eyes opened. This was Jesus main ministry!
Last night Todd Bentley preached a wonderful message at the revival. He has come under much criticism and last night shared that people want to know why he wasn't preaching the gospel. He went on to share that the gospel is not just preaching a message, but it demonstrates the power! The same "method", that Jesus Christ and Paul the apostle used. He preached the on the Lord's prayer and gave a compelling message( which unfortunately I did not take notes and eventually fell asleep before hearing the whole thing), that we should pray thy kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven. On earth as it is in heaven. What is it like in heaven? Well go look in your Bibles and study up on what heaven is like, and then you will know what to pray for. The kingdom of heaven is at hand, it is for now. We do not have to wait for the whole shebang until we die and go to be with our Lord. God wants us to bring heaven down to earth and invade it for His Kingdom and for His glory!!
Another thing, what does salvation mean anyway, does it simply mean you are forgiven of your sins, which that in itself is amazing?! Salvation in the Greek is sozo, which means healing, provision, wholeness and preservation. By His stripes we are healed. Not just from the power of sin, but from sickness and poverty and emotional deprivation! Folks this salvation we have is far more amazing than we realize. I want to live in it! No longer do I simply want to pursue a form of godliness that denies the power of God in my life!!

Hungry Ones.....

Last night I was able to attend a gathering of believers, House of God's Light, that unite together to be in God's presence, and worship Him, allowing the Holy Spirit to move freely admist them as they meet. It was Awesome!
Worship was simple and so sensitive to the Spirit. We sang and just soaked in God's presence. It was difficult to stay standing at times for me, I just had such a sense of God's Awesome Presence! One thing that blessed me so much was all of the prophetic words that were brought, connected so well together, but in particular a young child brought a powerful prophetic word to the group. I can't tell you how that impacted me! It made me think of my Colby! Oh, the faith of a child, the boldness of a young one!! Jesus did say "Let the children come to me", and that we should have childlike faith!!! Such a delight to be able to witness that!!!
I was also so blessed by the hunger in the group. Such hunger, united!! Awesome!! I haven't experienced that freedom of being in a unit or body of believer's that were so open to whatever God had for them, in a long time!!! In Spirit and in truth.......
The intercession was amazing, as hearts cried out for God's power to come to the city of Philadelphia and turn it upside down with His Glory and His Love!!! I believe God was filling hearts with His heart for all the broken lives and lost in this city......
I keep thinking of the line in a Hillsong song, "break my heart for what breaks Yours"....He was filling us with compassion, tangibly for what he longs to do - heal the brokenhearted and bind their wounds......
The revival in Lakeland was talked about. Randy Clark has sent out a message that he believes we need to get ready, God is bringing the revival to breakout in Philadelphia....!!! (which actually God gave me a sense of a few weeks back as I drove through my own town,..maybe now I need to share that vision..in another post perhaps..)
One woman was asked to pray for the group and for the annointing to be on the people to prepare for what was to come! She couldn't even pray, because she was overcome by laughter in the Spirit.
Boy, was that fun to watch! Others quickly came to be prayed for and have her lay hands on them to receive the annointing she had gotten. Oh, eager, hungry folks.....I needed to be in the midst of such a gathering - it was so refreshing!
All the way home, I was so full, so delighted in God and full of joy and laughter coming over me in waves......the residuals from the meeting lasted for hours.....

I am so grateful to Don & Jen Baker for "compassion networking" me, to both the conference and the meeting I attended......I hope to stir up others by posting this.......!!!! God has so much more for us, let's not settle for what we have, but step out in faith that He has SO MUCH MORE available to us, His children!!!!!

Never seen anything like it!!!!

I am so jazzed and have to say, I have never seen anything like this! Coming from a Reformed Baptist background - very conservative...I have never seen anyone healed or heard of miracles, let alone being broadcast online!!! Anyway, I watched it 2 weeks ago and felt adrenaline go through me that I never felt before and felt like I was supposed to go! Unfortunately, I couldn't get my husband to agree. Of course it's not too late!! Anyway, I was offline for awhile and now am back and every time I watch it, I just get so full of God. Joy, laughing, crying, chills!! This is an exciting time in history, I am so glad to be able to watch it!!! I would be more thrilled to go myself, but I am just so grateful that it is happening in the earth today!!

Here's my plug to go check it out for yourself!!!!
